Jill Fanshawe Kato

Born in Nottingham, England, she graduated in Painting from Chelsea Art School. Later she went to Japan where she lived for six years and studied pottery intensively at the school of the Bizen potter, Yosei Itaka, and at Musoan Karatsu Pottery School in Tokyo. She produces functional pots for the Japanese and British markets and architectural and sculptural ceramics for collectors.
