As the days shorten and we hurtle headlong into autumn, our first featured ceramicist is Cardiff based Korean master Jaejun Lee. In his short time in the UK Jaejun has garnered a loyal and burgeoning following. In this exhibition he adds to his signature moon jars and nesting bowls, with new forms adorned with delicious drips of celadon glaze. Regular visitors will be reminded of exhibitions here featuring Masamichi Yoshikawa and Takeshi Yasuda.

Sancho Panza, my trustee hound, found the going hard this weekend- close, humid, muggy. Despite my assurances that we were walking through an Eric Ravilious painting, he was not convinced and took his sweet time all the way up Morgan’s hill. Wiltshire is such a gorgeous county. This is above Calne and looking towards Cherhill monument. Silbury hill is over the hills and beyond to the right.

Thankfully there was shade……
